Mere hours in Dover

Recommended Posts

Will be in Dover for 5 hours in early May - repositioning cruise stopping there for some reason or another - and would appreciate recommendations from locals re must-see sights and nice place for early luncheon. Don't really want to get too far afield. Walking on the cliff easy to get to/from?

Regards.

I agree that Dover Castle is fascinating. We probably spent 5 or 6 hours there. There was so much to see, especially the WWII war tunnel tour! But, I also think it is worth the time to walk along the white cliffs. That is the quintessential element that defines Dover and I am so glad we had to chance to ramble along the cliff paths!
