We were also on this cruise... We had a great time as well and had nothing to complain about...

Barbados we hired a taxi to take us around the island - We went to Animal Flower Cave in St. Lucy (I found this on line). Beautiful scenery, but the water was too rough to go down in the cave - Highly recommended for sight seeing!!!

St. Lucia - Zip line tour - the only complaint was that we had to wait for over an hour while the group in front of us went. They didn't have enough equipment for a couple of groups to go at a time. - Awesome scenry as well

Antigua - Sail, Snorkle, Beach - I have done this excursion before - The water in which you snorkle in is a little rough, but if you can swim, or have snorkeled before you won't have a problem

St. Maarten - Taxi to Orient Beach - I parasailed and saw a sea turtle which was cool, but for $50, the parasailing only lasted about 5 minutes

St. Thomas - Catamaran to St. John to snorkle - WONDERFUL!!! Would do this one again in a heart beat...

We had anytime dining and went to a different table each night… Great food each night…

Room steward Reynaldo (B722) was really good, but very shy, kind of surprising actually… I think if we would have said BOO too loud the poor guy would have ran away crying… But he did everything we asked for right away…

Embarking and Debarking were both a BREEZE.

Embarking - We arrived in San Juan on the day of the cruise at 2:30 and were in our rooms no later than 3:30. I was very happy with the way things went at the new pier. I thought things were fine at the old pier as well…

Debarking - We had 9:10am flights out of San Juan and rec’d a letter in our box on Friday to meet at the travel desk at 7:15 and they would escort us off the ship… We carried off our luggage; we were off the ship by 7:30 and at the airport before 8. No problem with the early flights, but this may have been something out of the ordinary! I would try it again though! Just make sure you let them know right away if you have early flights… Those that didn’t were stuck and couldn’t get off the ship, but they blamed it on the pursers desk and Princess Cruise Lines… Their story changed 3 times while they were standing there with us… They wanted us to have the pilot hold the flight for them (we were all flying through Chicago)… They didn’t make the flight and it was awesome for those of us that did because we could spread out through out the plane.

Entertainment- We didn’t see a lot of the shows… I was really looking forward to Sarge, but he wasn’t there… The comedians as well as Tim Donovan all used the same joke about the size of their rooms and how they don’t need a remote for the tv because their rooms were so small… No big deal… We did like all of the comedians except the one guy (sorry I don’t remember his name) that was the comedian/magician… Not great but ok… Peer Factor was a waste of time in our opinion and we left soon after it started… Motor City was the only production show we watched and it was fine other than one blonde dancer that was a train wreck and I couldn’t stop watching her…

Please let me know if you have any questions I can answer.

Abby,

Glad you had a good time, as well. Wow, a 9:10 flight? Did you book that yourselves, or did you get your air through Princess? I'd be scared to death before hand, but happy as could be if I actually made the flight.:D I hate waiting around in airports.

Alas, I guess the Dodo's of the world make us appreciate the good ones.

Very nice review SC Sam. We just came off the same cruise.

Lorenzo Clark was horrible. I thought all the other comedians we saw -- Steve Morris, Uber Rossi, and Ace Adams -- were great. Although I am still disturbed about Ace Adams and that red unitard and gold g-string he wore at the end of his act. That was horrifying to me...

Minisuites on Dolphin deck do not have covered balconies -- everyone four decks up can see right down on you -- I guess this is the price you pay for having a longer cabin.

Ladies, if you are looking for a little workout motivation -- please take a spinning class with Michael, the fitness instructor from Australia. Not only is he a great instructor -- but he is superb eye candy. He will really motivate you... I wish he taught spinning at my home gym. I would live in the gym if I had him to look at.

I booked the 9:10 flight actually by accident... I was concerned about making the flight, but I figured since it was at the end of the trip if I missed it, it wouldn't have been as big of a deal if I had missed the flight to the cruise... I would probably try it again... At least on Princess anyway becuase now I know their process.... But, I know that it might not always work out.
