They didn't take our passports!!

We have just returned from the 2/25 5-day Pearl. And they didn't take our passports! There are many threads about whether they do or don't take passports. I can officially say that the did not take our Canadian passports for this cruise. This made us feel very good as we were quite nervous about the idea of giving our passports.

Thanks, heading out on the Spirit on Saturday and have always had my pasports held. Will be nice to hold on to them. Erin

Our family cruised on the Dawn after the new passport regs. and all they did was look at them and hand them back to us - no problem.

We just returned from the Spirit yesterday and they DID take our passports. I'm starting to believe that it depends on where you go. It may be a Bahamian regulation because the to cruises to Bahamas we had to give up our passports. The cruise to western caribean, we didn't.
