Drinking laws in Alabama?

Hey, Does anyone know what the laws are in Alabama? I have heard there are some restrictions on either buying or consuming alcohol on certain days? We will be getting there on a Sunday and want to know if we need to buy alcohol before we leave. Up here in Wisconsin we don't have to worry about any of that, you can practically buy liquor 24/7. Thanks for your help!

There are no alcohol sales in Alabama on Sunday, so you had better bring it from home. sorry

You can buy beer and wine on Sundays...but no hard liquor. You can consume any and all of it anytime you want. You can also buy beer, wine, and liquor in restaurants on Sunday. Liquor is only sold in ABC stores and those are closed on Sunday. Beer and wine is sold in grocery stores, drug stores, etc.

Actually every city/county in Alabama has their own quirky way of dealing with alcohol and the only statewide mandate is that package liquor sales are not allowed on Sunday anywhere in the state.

Actually, I was talking about Mobile in particular since that is where the cruise departs from.
