HI, Looking to book mini-suite on Emerald Deck on the Emerald Princess,

but since this ship is sister to Crown maybe someone can help us.

Called my TA today for booking this March of 2008 and the only cabin

available is E729. We have never stayed that far back on a ship before,

I was at least hoping to get E721, but nothing is availabe except 729.

My ?'s. will we feel vibration and rocking and what about the noise below us

in Club Fusion? we are doing a 10 night caribbean. Any help will be

appreciated since I put this on hold and only have a few days to get back

to my TA.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Ann.

I sailed on the Star Princess last September and had cabin E728. It was wonderful. Yes, you will feel vibration, especially when the ship is pulling into port and when it is leaving port. The only time I found it somewhat disruptive was disembarkation day since it happened before my alarm clock went off. Felt a little like a California earthquake, but it didn't last long.

You will also hear the noise from the club below you. We were above the Lotus Lounge on the Star and we could hear the music. I just put my earplugs in and didn't hear anything after that.

I wouldn't hesitate to book your cabin. You will love the mini suite and its bathtub. Such a luxury and being at the back of the ship there is less up and down motion as opposed to the front of the ship. Also, being on Emerald deck towards the back you shouldn't have anyone above you looking down onto your cabin.

You can click on the link in my signature to see my pix on Webshots. Your cabin should look similar, although your balcony won't be as large as mine was. And your cabin is on the other side of the ship!

Enjoy your cruise!

Theresa
