(the search functions froze) My question is... If you book a group cruise, and you qualify for a free cabin... when do you get the money and who do you get it from? Do you recieve it from your TA or from Carnival? Any ideas??:D

No money actually changes hands. Cruise line credits the amount of the free berth to the group total. You, as the cruise director, can request it be applied to a specific cabin (such as yours if you wish to keep the credit for yourself).

It is 1 person/berth for every 8 cabins minus taxes and port. We paid for some relatives to go on our wedding cruise so we got the "free berth" it came from Carnival to the Ta to us. It was about 220.00 we got back. it is based off of the cabin price that your group has the most of 4A 6a etc

Have you already made final payment and paid for your cabin in full? If so, the cruiseline or TA may refund the tc credit back to you. If you have not paid final yet, as others have said, you will get the credit deducted from your final payment.

You will receive the equivalent of one free berth per 8 cabins sold based on the type of cabin that sold the most. If you book a balcony and everyone else in your group books an inside, you will receive the equivalent of 1 inside berth. Taxes and Port fees are not included in this.

The money will come after the cruise (please allow 6 to 8 weeks for delivery ;)).
