Just saw an ad in a local paper and thought I'd pass this along. Coach America (www.coachamerica.com) is offering $39 round trip from their three park and ride locations in Houston - one is near Hobby Airport - to Galveston. Booking code is "save 20" and you must make a reservation. Ad says to contact your travel agent or use the internet address above. They also give phone numbers: 713-670-3267 and 1-800-479-5287. As far as I know, they use large buses and the parking lot that I have seen looks fairly secure. Perhaps someone who has used the them can "voice" an opinion of their service.
