Snorkel in Cozumel

Palancar and Columbia Reefs. Try either Eagle Ray or Manta Ray Divers for independent trips. Princess offers a snorkel excursion that goes to Palancar. The boat's a bit crowded, but the the guides were excellent and the snorkeling is great.

Go to Chakaanab park or take a taxi to Dzul-ha. Snorkeling right from the shore. Or "Corona Beach", which is a restaurant/bar with good snorkeling and near Dzul-ha....I liked Dzul-ha.....all of these are near Palancar reef. You can take a taxi from the ship to Dzul-ha for abour $8 each way.

Relating to your question, can anyone reccommend a good spot for snorkeling off of a beach? Have heard the park is not the best place for swimming due to hurricane damage and being rocky. Some in our group want to snorkel and some want the beach. Looking for a place to do both!
