Sunshine91 Posted March 12, 2007 #1 Share Posted March 12, 2007 If you will be booking Eurodam's inaugural, which embarks & disembarks in Copenhagen, Denmark, I thought you might be interested in the attached article in today's Washington Post Travel section. It appears the author & his wife had a great time eating their way thru Copenhagen. The article details a number of really nice restaurants. Needing to fly in a day before the inaugural voyage, we'll certainly be needing recommendations for a good place to get a bite to eat. I've already clipped the article for my Eurodam file. :) http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/03/09/AR2007030900727.html
cruznon Posted March 12, 2007 #2 Share Posted March 12, 2007 Thanks, Sunshine. I put in my travel folder. It was very thoughtful of you to pass this along. Peggy
shipcafe Posted March 12, 2007 #3 Share Posted March 12, 2007 Thanks for the article! I just love Copenhagen and will be spending a couple of nights there this coming May after our Carnival Freedom cruise in the Med. We fly each way through Copenhagen as it is a non-stop flight to Seattle (love SAS!) I look forward to trying some new places next July before the Eurodam inaugural, too, though! sail7seas Posted March 12, 2007 #4 Share Posted March 12, 2007 Copenhagen is one of our very favorite cities. It's absolutely charming. Very walkable; nice people; clean and good food. Tivoli if fun and the shopping is wonderful. A pre/post cruise stay in Copenhagen is a real treat. IMO Thank you for the link, Sunshine.
CDRMark Posted March 12, 2007 #5 Share Posted March 12, 2007 Sunshine91: Thanks so much for this super info. DW and I will be in Copenhagen in August for a few days before embarking Rotterdam. This is just the sort of stuff we were looking for. Thanks again Mark
