So I just booked this 2 star near IAH in Houston... just wondering if anyone else has stayed here. I booked on Priceline for the evening before our cruise, as well as the evening after. Each night was under $60 after taxes and everything... My guess is this place is pretty crappy, but I figured we won't be there that long... Any insight would be appreciated.

It's near IAH- just take Rankin Road to the East about three miles - and not in a bad area. Don't recall it specifically, but I attend a monthly association meeting at a motel in that area. Most of the lodging in that area is fairly new. Shouldn't be a problem.

I've been there for a brief meeting, its nice enough. You won't really be near anything too exciting. If you plan to have a rental car, there are many other areas where staying would be nicer and located more near to the action in and around Houston, while not being too far off from the airport.
