TMarie Posted March 15, 2007 #1 Share Posted March 15, 2007 I read on this board that Adventure of the Seas was due for dry dock. Does anyone have the dates for that? We are cruising September 2nd. Also, what does this mean for AOS? New decor? (Besides the bedding- which I heard is already being put in!) Anyone know if they are adding a Chops? Thanks! IBookHePays Posted March 15, 2007 #2 Share Posted March 15, 2007 I was wondering that also. Looks like AOS has a full itinerary, there are sailings every week thru August and beyond (I stopped checking at August) How long does a ship usually stay in dry dock?
Aquahound Posted March 15, 2007 #3 Share Posted March 15, 2007 All I heard for the drydock was this Spring. As for Chops, I hope so!!! The latest brochure shows one. So,.............
EJLevin Posted March 15, 2007 #4 Share Posted March 15, 2007 If you look on the internet it shows in June sailings are every othr week and in May also.

So this means they only do drydock a week at a time? Sounds a bit silly.. glad its awhile before our cruise...all the glitches and bugs should be worked out... TMarie Posted March 16, 2007 Author #6 Share Posted March 16, 2007 Ok...i just looked at cruises during those months...and thats not true... You do realize they do two different routes? I do think its odd that they have 4 different cruises posted, when there were only two before... Maybe they are cancelling some? Or maybe there is no drydock... Im soooo confused
IBookHePays Posted March 16, 2007 #7 Share Posted March 16, 2007 Yes, there are two different routes...if you put them both together there's no down time. The four cruises are the different dates that put the whole itinerary together. So I'm still wondering when this dry dock will happen?

SarafinaSarafina Posted March 16, 2007 #9 Share Posted March 16, 2007 From what I understand, they won't have a dry-dock. They are just upgrading the bedding this spring.
