KitKatK Posted April 14, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 14, 2004 There will be three of us on the July 5th crossing - myself - 42 yrs. old, and another two women, 43 and 51 yrs. old. All are first-time cruisers. Staying on for an eight-day Globus tour through southern England afterwards. How many days now?
juneann Posted April 14, 2004 Author #3 Share Posted April 14, 2004 That sounds wonderful and you won't arrive jetlagged for your . Are you all sharing a cabin? I'm traveling with my husband. I am 59 years old. Actually, I will be 60 on July 5th.
KitKatK Posted April 15, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 15, 2004 Yes, we're all sharing one cabin. It will be tight quarters, I know, but it was the only way we could afford to do the crossing *and* the land tour.
juneann Posted July 1, 2004 Author #5 Share Posted July 1, 2004 I've only found one other July 5th cruiser...marco. And yet I believe that the entire ship is on wait list for cabins. Where are you coming into NY from?

Where are you coming into NY from? Voorhees, NJ (South Jersey). The President of the South Jersey AAA is sponsoring our groupof about 45 people, so they're providing bus transportation to the pier. marco Posted July 1, 2004 #7 Share Posted July 1, 2004 And viola...here's the thread I've been looking for. We just have to drive in from Westchester, so I'm sure we won't be too jet lagged when we arrive a the pier.
juneann Posted July 1, 2004 Author #8 Share Posted July 1, 2004 And we are from NYC so it's a fairly quick trip. It's great to start out this journey without flying. I only wish that I had the time to continue on and then return by ship to NYC. I imagine that would be great. We should arrange to meet on the ship. Interested?
