New to HAL--all aboard time

We are sailing on the O in April. Just wondering so we can plan our shore time--

 

What is the usual "all-aboard" time relative to sailing time when in ports?? Our past experience with other lines has been to be back on board 1/2 hour before sailing. Is HAL any different?

That's usually it. I've heard them say many times they will pull the gangway 30 minutes before sailing ... but I don't recall ever seeing it done.

Same for HAL. All aboard is usually thirty minutes prior to sailing. It is a VERY rare occassion when we have cut it that close. We always try to be aboard one hour prior.

The last cruise we took was with RCI. In Astoria Oregan a cople missed the last tender and the had to ctach up with the ship in the next port. The missed the 30 minuet before I guess.
