Dinner Reservations for 8+ people

What time slots do they let groups of 8+ people book reservations in the main dinning rooms on the Star?

I think I saw it posted as 5:30 to 6:00 or 6:30 and then about 8:00 and after. However, I also just read about a group of 10 that didn't find they needed reservations, just walked in and easily got a table. I just returned with a group of 6 and we never had a problem. Once waited for about 10 minutes but sat and enjoyed a drink until they called us.

I would suggest that you inquire when you board.

This ensures that you will not have problems.

 

Much will depend on when you are sailing.
