GottoCruise Posted August 3, 2004 #1 Share Posted August 3, 2004 Anyone going to Guam - make note of this terrific guide - James Oelke - Wild Gekko Tours ---James stayed in Guam after the Navy and has been there for 18 years. He is originally from Kansas - He is extremely personable, knowledgeable and accomodating and will show you Guam from the inside out! We spent over 8 hrs. with him yesterday - he us in a brand new A/C van, loaded with drinks for all - we toured the entire Island stopping at all the important Military Historic sites, all the Folklore Historic sights, all the Geographic sites and also took us to lunch - facing the ocean -just delightful, and had time for shopping in downtown (if that's what you want) and snorkelling too!! An amazing day! :D
denjude Posted May 23, 2006 #2 Share Posted May 23, 2006 MAY 2006 -- Eight of us from the Pacific Princess arranged an all-day tour with James Oelke that ranked among the best tours we've EVER had -- ANYWHERE. James was knowledgable, articulate, attentive and in all respects made it a memorable day. His price per person was well under what the ship would have charged -- and it included a delicious lunch at Jeff's Pirate Cove. Email James if you want to work out a tour. You won't be disappointed. Traveling Sue Posted December 23, 2007 #3 Share Posted December 23, 2007 We are planning to stop in Guam in March 2008 and would like a private tour. Does anyone know “James Oelke - WildGekkoTours” web site or email address? I would like to take his tour. Also, we are looking for a private guide/tour for Saipan? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Sue
