boingy300 Posted March 24, 2007 Author #27 Share Posted March 24, 2007 I'm working on our music now! I have a really eclectic mix that I put together for vacation. Some of these aren't necessarily cruise related, but we heard them on vacation at some point and they became "Our" vacation music. Kykitty Posted March 24, 2007 #30 Share Posted March 24, 2007 Here's another great one: "Smooth Reggae," by Steel Drums of the Caribbean. Also "Island Aphrodisiac," by Rippingtons (strictly instrumental, on their "Life in the Tropics" album, "Rum Cay," and "Voodoo Dance," from Miami Vice sound tracks. I always have "Montego Bay" and these on my cruising slideshows! Really takes me back when I look at them. For some reason, there were two songs we heard endlessly on our Mariner cruise several weeks ago: "Booty Man," by Tim Wilson, and "Big Bamboo Love Song," (not for the young or infirm ). Every snorkeling boat had these songs going full blast - in Jamiaca, GC, and Cozumel. Of course, everyone was cracking up listening to them after all the rum punch, margaritas, etc. __________________
