Diving in Grand Cayman

We are going on our first cruise...a local dive shop guy told us about a great shore dive (Eden Rock and Devil's Grotto) that is supposed to be pretty great. We'd love to try it. Problem is, we are travelling with our 12 yo and 3 yo. How hard is it to get on and off the ship in Grand Cayman? Would we be able to leave first thing, do our dive thing, come back and get the kids for a beach excursion? We are scheduled to be in port from 7 am to 3 pm.

Any advice for us?

TIA

Cayman is a tender port - therefore getting off the ship and back on can be problematic.....dig aroud here for more 'excursion' info about GC. Ship's excursions will probably get priority (go first...)

Eden Rock is a decent dive - but the closest thing to the tender landing, hence where 97.865856% of people go,,,including the excursions

Ummmm...who's watching the kids while you are off the ship....sorry, none of my business.

You need to investigate....Eden is a decent shore dive....I'd go down to Sunset House...but your children issues are not addressed by my rcmd....

(sunsethouse.com .... no affil' other than liking the place since 1985)
