Long Beach Airport to cruise ship pier

Anyone have any experience in getting from Long Beach airport to the cruise ship pier? (Well, actually to the Coast Hotel, since that's where we're staying for the night before we cruise.) What's the easiest and/or most convenient way? I'm not worried about cost; I'm thinking a cab might be the best way to go?!?

Cab... always the best way to go. Usually Cabs charge a flat rate to go from the airport to the Port. Since the GuestHouse is litterally at the Port, you should get that rate.
