RMS Saint Helena

Does anyone have any experience with the Royal Mail Ship St. Helena that carries passengers to and from St Helena, Ascension Island, Walvis Bay, Cape Town and the UK ?

Always thought I would like that trip.

 

Several years ago, Cruise Travel magazine had a feature article on that ship and itinerary, and as I recall, rated it very favorably. Perhaps someone will have that magazine in their collection, and would be willing to share its info.

This has always been on my "to-do" list, but it's kind of far away, long and expensive ;) .

 

It sounds like a fascinating trip though... A real throwback to a different era (though the ship is modern).
