What to do before 7 pm flight?

DH & I do not fly out until 7 pm on the day our cruise ends. Any thoughts on what to do that day? Is there anywhere to store luggage so we don't have to tow it around with us all day? We'll be in Miami.

What we did the one cruise when we had a late flight, was rented the smallest, cheapest car we could. Yes we had to haul our luggage around with us, but we had a car so it didn't matter! We just ended up driving around doing a little exploring...but it was WAY better than sitting at the airport. :)

Rent a car (with a trunk) and stash the luggage there

 

then options include

 

South Beach, the Grove, the Falls, Cuban lunch, Dearing Estate, Viscaya

I'm doing an Everglades tour post-cruise through Carnival excursions. I'm sure all of the cruise lines offer something similar.

Do any of the Miami resorts offer day passes to use their facilities.... a pool and bathrooms for the afternoon would be great.

 

Are there any 'must do' shopping areas or malls? How close to the Freedom port can you rent a car?
