Beaches in Mexico HELP!!

Okay i have read SOOOOOOO many threads on the best beaches to go to while in Costa Maya and in Cozumel. But there are several i have noticed for each. It is only going to be my DH and I. We are not big on alcohol so we are mainly looking to shop a little for items to take home for family and then to relax on the beach and in the ocean. Can ya'll help me narrow it down?! Thank you!:confused:

You can't go wrong with either Paradise/San Francisco Beach..they are side by side.:)

I personally like Playa Palancar for the quiet, laid back atmosphere and the fish tacos.

dh and i just returned from cozumel. we went to the playa mia deluxe beach break and had a blast. we wanted to sit back and relax, and yet have some fun. the food (included) was yummy, and all beverages included alcoholic and non. there was alot of talk about party party party here. i was a little skeptical since it was spring break. there were no problems, no out of control youngsters etc. there were plenty of chairs, shade, restrooms, etc. we loved it. we parasailed here as well. you can visit their website...i think it was www.playamia.com

i would happily return to this beach. it was clean and you could order food and/or beverages and have them brought to your beach chair. a couple even ordered lunch and they brought out a small table for them. you can do all inclusive or not.
