Waitlisted for Cabana on Princess Cay

Hello,

 

We waited for the opening of the shore excursions for cabanas on Princess Cay and booked it within the first 10 mins. and were waitlisted. Could that many people have booked cabanas at the same time or does Princess waitlist everyone? This same thing happened to me booking a cabana on Half Moon Cay. We went on the cruise thinking we were not getting one and the 1st night of the cruise an envelope appeared with my tender and cabana tickets.

If you are referring to the Beach Bungalows, I suspect the same thing. We had the same experience earlier this month.

 

Of course, the shore excursions desk denied it when I inquired.

Yes, I meant Bungalow, sorry. On Half Moon Cay they were called Cabanas. I wanted to know why if they were reserved in the first 10 mins of the shore excursions opening up for my cruise why is there a waitlist for them?

I reserved a bungalow at Princess Cays a couple of days after shore excursions opened. There are only six so they book up quickly. I've heard that a few usually become available as you get closer. Good luck. I'll cross my fingers for you.

I booked ours about 20 days after the bookings opened (I did get the last one) :)
