Coco Cay ?

Hi fellow cruisers,

I was wonder if the water/ice is purified on Coco Cay? I have read that it is purified on RCCL and Carnival ships. Should we avoid the ice/ water on Coco Cay or are these items taken off the ship? Thanks for your reply. The last thing we want for our Cruise is to get sick form the water.

Not sure about all that technical stuff. But, I've consumed plenty of Coco Locos there with ice and haven't gotten sick. I don't think RCCL would have bad water or ice. Enjoy your time there.

I don't know for fact that it is purified, but the island is owned by RCI, so I think that everything served there would have to be under the same standards as on the ships.

I also have consumed numerous CocoLocos there with no problems.
