SBD vs Weight watchers

NOA

Recommended Posts

Hi all

I new to south beach diet and had a few questions. I lost about 10 pounds on ww a few years ago. I still had to loose 10 more.

But I'm afraid to try a new diet.

If I loose the 10 pounds in the first phase, did I get directly to third?

Why if I start eating carbs again did I gain more weight?

Which is better weight or SBD?

Need help please

NOA,

My best advice is to post this on the actual SB thread. You should get lots of answers there. It's possible if you only have 10 pounds to lose that you won't lose that much in Phase 1. It seems like the more you have to lose the larger the amount you lose in phase 1. I needed to lost 70 pounds and lost 8 in the first part. There are people who needed to lose over a hundred who lost 13+. Also I'd think that you would want to go into phase 2 for a while so that the "shock" of all the extra carbs doesnt' cause you to regain the weight. But I haven't read the book, just doen the diet off the prevention website.
