My partner Doug and I will be in Beijing on October 30th and willdo some touring around. I havae not confirmed hotels yet as I would like to share a ride to the port on November 2nd. Is anyone interested in this?I am trying to avoid the Princess hotel and transfer as it seems to be more eaxpensive than if done on my own. I am starting to check out tours in the ports and am interestead in sharing with others to keep costs down. Looking for replies.

Hi Molly, I am going with a group of 20 people. We are leaving Toronto on the 29th and arrive Beijing the same day as you - Oct 30. We booked a land tour for these days. Airport pick-up to Hotel, 2 night accommodations, tour to Great Wall of China, transportation to pier (Xingang), with most meals included for Canadian $350. If you are interested, I can send you more information to your email address. Please let me know.....also, I have posted on the same forum asking information on Shore Excursions for those ports. Check it out now and then to see whether someone been to the same itineraries and, hopefully can give us tips, I am sure some of the ports are closed enough to the city so we don't need to spend the extra money.
