Dooney & Bourke San Juan question

Recommended Posts

Hi Everyone,

We are taking the AOS in three weeks. Does anyone know how far a walk it is to the Dooney & Bourke outlet from the ship? Would it be better to take a cab?

Also, do they charge for esspresso at dinner?

Thanks!!!

Once you get to Old San Juan. The Coach & Dooney outlets take about 10-15 minutes to walk to. The streets are cobblestone and very hilly, so wear good walking shoes. If your back is facing the dock area in OSJ, you want to head North a few blocks, turn left 4-5 blocks and look for Calle Cristo Street, turn right on that street and the outlets are there. They do have a lot of clearance(65% off itmes) have fun shopping!

The taxi cost from the Pan Am pier to OSJ (including going to El Morro fort) is $10 per car for 1 to 5 paxs so just asked to be dropped off at D & B. If you are at cruise pier 4 in OSJ, there is a free tourist board trolley bus that you can get across street (El Malecon) beside the bus terminal. There are actually two route, one to El Morro and the other to city hall/Plaza de Armas. Calle Cristo is the next street west of the far end of that Plaza.
