Is it always Crown Bay, even if it is the only ship in port?

Yup - Princess apparently signed a long term lease to dock all of their ships at Crown Bay instead of Havensight for a discount. This was major incentive to building Crown Bay.

What a shame Princess don't offer a shuttle bus service to get their passengers to Havensight, where everything is. :rolleyes:

I will be on the Caribbean Princess at the end of April and was thinking about going to Trunk Bay on my own. Does anyone know how much the taxi would be from Crown Bay to Red Hook to catch the ferry? Does it make more sense to take the ferry from Red Hook or Charlotte Amalie with the ship docking at Crown Bay?

I will be on the Crown Princess the end of this month and was wondering how far CROWN BAY is from the down town area....of Charlotte Amalie ???

I was wondering the same thing - I would love to know what time recent Caribbean Princess cruisers have got off the ship in St Thomas - if you can get off by 7:30 I think you can make it to red hook for the 9 am ferry. If not I am going to sleep in a little and not worry about it and hit the 9am ferry in CA
