Robert Posted April 7, 2007 #1 Share Posted April 7, 2007 Thinking of the five of us taking the "Cruise Train" from Harwich Port to Liverpool Station, London. Can anyone answer a few questions. How much did it cost (US dollars)? What did they do with luggage? How long did the trip take? Is there enought time between docking time and train departing time? When you got to the Liverpool Station were tranfers to hotels any problem?

Liverpool is a city in the north-west of England, about 200 miles away from London. If you ask about trains from Liverpool to Harwich, you will get answers very different from what you need. I don't know anything about a "Cruise Train", but you could try looking for a regular train on this site: http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/ It gives the journey time as one hour 27 minutes, and there are trains at frequent intervals (about every hour). You can look up the fare on this site too. On a "regular" train, you take your own luggage onto the train. There are usually luggage racks near the entrance to each compartment, where you put your large cases, and overhead racks for hand baggage. Main train stations in London usually have a good supply of big, black taxis, and you should have no problem getting to your hotel. Hope this helps a little!
