SW FLA CRUISER Posted April 7, 2007 #1 Share Posted April 7, 2007 On nights other than formal nights I was wondering what is appropriate attire for children in the dining room? Are shorts O.K? Also, for adults are nice shorts and tropical shirts acceptable? Packing now for tomorrows sailing! Thanks, David
fatcat04 Posted April 7, 2007 #2 Share Posted April 7, 2007 I asked our cabin stewardess if my 5 yo son could wear shorts to dinner on casual nights and she said that was fine. I think the rules are more relaxed for little ones. On the one formal night he attended, he wore a tie, vest, and slacks and enjoyed dressing up so much. He called it his "tuxedo" since his daddy had on a tuxedo. :) For adults, they really prefer pants/slacks for gents and pants/slacks/capris for ladies. Stylish Hawaiian shirts are fine. Hubby lived in them.
