Flash2 Posted August 5, 2004 #1 Share Posted August 5, 2004 The last I heard of these two ships was in March when they were going to be put up for auction. Were they sold?
Britanis Posted August 6, 2004 #2 Share Posted August 6, 2004 Olympia Voyager is now named Voyager and is owned by Horizon Navigation Inc. of Miami, with V. Ships Leisure as shipmanagers (a unit of Monaco-based V. Ships.) Olympia Explorer, now named Explorer, is owned by Stella Maritime Ltd. in the Bahamas and has been chartered to Semester-at-Sea for educational cruising as a replacement for the 1958-built Universe Explorer. She will commence service next month, I believe. As far as I know, Voyager is still laid up somewhere
