Hello judy,

Your likely not to get it on priceline. If you look at other threads 75% people who named their own price for a 4 star on priceline end up getting the hyatt downtown. Looking at when your leaving the intercontinental after taxes based one night came to 143.26. which ain't bad considering all the other sites have that hotel as $300 plus. Also heard alot of good reviews for holiday inn at port. That for one night roughly with taxes goes for 152.27 and is right across street from port can see ships, and bayside right across street.

Hi judy,

Yeah i'm pretty sure that's not for intercontinental.Reason being is if you click continue on that price, it say's retail $159.00, well i just went to hyatt's website and put in your date and price it gives is $159.00 before taxes. So safe to say it's for hyatt, considering intercontinental's retail is $280.00 plus.As hyatt have no clue how nice it is to be honest.

Quote from firstcruise06:

Hi,

Just returned from cruise from Port of Miami, we stayed at the Hyatt Regency where we won for 169.00 per nite, thru hotwire.com. Total about 200.00. We just slept there, we arrived dropped our luggage and took the Metro (for free) 2 stops over to Bayside Marketplace where we stayed until midnite, (cool place to shop and hang out). HIGHLY RECOMMEND. The Hyatt told us places to go for liquor and breakfast before our 1200 check out and then got us a $12 taxis to the Port for our cruise. We would stay there again, just would not eat there as it is very expensive. It was alittle noisy because of all the construction going on, one year from now they will not have a view. The pool looked good but we didnt have time and You NEEDED YOUR ROOM KEY TO WORK THE ELEVATORS... which was a nice plus for security.

M:cool:

Hope that helps alittle.

How is the Hyatt???

I've been doing research on betterbidding and this appears to be the Hyatt. If it were the Intercontinental, it would also have a laundry icon. That's the difference between the two.

I live in Miami and I would stay at the Intercontinental for the same price. Beautiful hotel at the entrance to the Miami River with views of the bay, port, Key Biscayne and Downtown Miami.

Hyatt is not bad just a few blocks in from the Bay.

Prices are close would stay at the Intercontinental.
