English Bay Vancouver

My wife and I will be in Vancouver in May and was wondering where would be a nice place to enjoy drinks while watching the sunset? I've read somewhere that English Bay is recommended for this. If so are there any specific recommendations for a cafe?

We stayed out at English Bay pre-cruise in 2000 and loved it.. at the Best Western.. dunno if it's still there but would stay there again if it was.. great location.

of Grouse Mountain. Spend the day up there and make a reservation for dinner-a window table.Incredible views of the whole city and beyond. The setting sun shines on the office building turning then gold and and orange.

both on English Bay. The Sylvia is old and funky and the Raincity is a fab restaurant. Have an appy and a bottle of Okanogan wine
