Island Princess Cabin Question

Just got a cabin assignment for our January 18 cruise on the Island Princess to Hawaii. We were upgraded from an AD guarantee to AB--Cabin D525.

 

Does anyone have info on this cabin--is the balcony covered?

 

Is the Dolphin deck a good deck to be on and why?

There is a cabin selection board here on CC somewhere. If you do a search on that board, I think you will find a list of the covered and uncovered balconies.

Hi Joyce.

 

Lucky you!! We booked an AE mini guarantee while on the Island in March for the 10/6/04 cruise and still haven't received an assignment and today makes 60 days out!!

 

The information I have shows D525 as uncovered. I think this is pretty reliable but may not be 100%.

 

We were on Emerald deck and that was a great location. Dolphin is one above so it should be fine. We loved the Island and are looking forward to sailing on her again in Oct. even if we have to pitch a tent on a deck!!HA! ;)

Thanks, Arlene. We are getting excited. In January, we got upgraded to an Owners' Suite on the Tahitian Princess. Wonder if we might be this LUCKY again??????

 

Any others have info on Cabin D525 or a comparable cabin?
