Harbor House Parking Galveston

We are looking to book a pre-cruise hotel in Galveston for October 19th. Can anyone give me any information about the parking at The Harbor House? Is it secure? Gated? Etc...... Any information would be appreciated!

Also, is it free or is there a charge. It seems I have seen it both ways on previous posts.

Parking at the Harbor House is not "caged and secure". The parking lot is accessed by a gate.....You might ask the Harbor House if they have onsight security at night.

I called them today. There is a $10.00/night charge for parking while you are staying at the hotel (in our case one night). There is no charge for parking while on the cruise.

It is not fenced in ,but it is fairly well lit and very visible from the street.We have stayed there a few times and never worried at all.When we left our car there during the cruise ,we parked on the first row by the street.
