All those places happily accept US dollars!

 

In general all touristy places will accept credit cards for admissions and purchases. The only place you might want US bills is like a flea market or hair braiding, and also for taxis.

But, take a lot of small US bills. Some shops love to say they have no extra US bills and give you the local currency for the change you're due. That becomes a pain ... and you're never sure you got the correct exchange. A little foreign currency is sometimes a nice souveneir ... especially for kids.
