nvbabe Posted April 22, 2007 #2 Share Posted April 22, 2007 We went last October and had couple of semi rough nights (I'm pretty sensitive). Most of the travel is done at night though, since you're in port almost all day every day. We also learned the ship can't put out the stablizers until they're a certain distance from shore. So the rocking didn't last too long.
PsychDoc Posted April 22, 2007 #3 Share Posted April 22, 2007 Its hard to predict. If you are truly prone to seasickness, I would suggest considering a transdermal scopalamine patch (the little discs you see behind people's ears on some cruises). My husband can get a little bout of seasickness almost anywhere, and they work just great. Wearing one of those, I felt a little wierd in really rough seas (the kind where bottles are flying off shelves in the bar and your drawers are opening and closing in your cabin) but didn't get sick. Better to be prepared.
