What is unique to Barbados?

We are experienced cruisers who do not want to sit on a beach all day. We are looking to do something that we can't do anywhere else. What is it? :)

I looked on the cruise website excursions list for ideas and there was a "Green Monkey 4x4 tour" that looked interesting. Has anyone heard about or done this tour? Good or bad?

Also, we were looking at the Malibu Rum Tour... how long does that take?

Any other suggestions?

Thanks!

Heather

I would suggest doing an island tour that includes St John church, Bathsheba, Farley Hill and the monkey Park. Thats pretty much an East Coast drive but you will see some fabulous scenery. On the way back down the west coast you can stop at one of the many restaurants and have a good Bajan flying fish meal. After all of this you will have a good feel for Barbados.
