Athenaeum Hotel on Piccadilly?

Last summer we treated ourselves to a week at the Savoy in London and loved it. Next summer there are 4 of us (2 adults/2 x 14 year olds) and we need something larger than the Savoy room or 2 rooms.

 

On tripadvisor, the Athenaeum Hotel & Apartments has been getting really good reviews, it's on Piccadilly directly across from Green Park and near Hyde Park Corner.

Yesterday I booked an 1 bdrm apartment with separate bedroom, living room with sofa bed for the kids, kitchen, - I figure we can do breakfasts in our room etc... and have more room for the same as what I paid at the Savoy last year.

 

Has anyone stayed here? It looks really nice from what I have seen on the net and the location/transportation options seem handy to everywhere. I did a search at CC and didn't see anything on it but if you have stayed there, let me know.
