Xpedition-Quito Free Day Options

My wife and I, and 2 other couples, are on the 11 night Galapagos cruise package that leaves on June 3rd. I am looking for some suggestions on what we might do on Day 11 "Explore Quito at Your Leisure". I have been reading these boards for several months and have already picked up some good things to consider i.e. Otavalo Market, and Bellavista Cloud Forest to name a couple. If anyone has done something else, I would appreciate hearing about it. Have any of you previous Xpedition cruisers gone to the Mindo Cloud Forest? Thanks in advance for your help.
