Hi all,

Just off the Lirica. Forget the negative posts. The ship was beautiful. The food was good. A little salty, and all the Italian dishes tasted just like I was back in my Italian grandmother's kitchen. Everything tasted very homemade. Our balconey cabin was large, walk-in closet with a stack of drawers, lots of hangers. many storage cabinets in the cabin. Large comfortable bathroom, and tub. The cruise was very relaxing. Not alot of klitz..European humor and style in all the very good shows. We went on 3 ship tours and 1 private cab. I would stick with the ship tours. They were great, we always had an employee from the tour desk with us, refreshments were always provided, and they were always completly organized. Acutually I would say the best organization on any cruise-tours we've ever taken. On the down side.. The casino was very small, and open very limited hours. The pillows (we had 6) were hard and horrible.(a few people bought new ones at the first port). There is a language barrier, though if we had a question, the staff could always find someone who could speak english, to answer it. The gym was tiny, if you wanted a treadmil, you had to reserve it.(I prefer to walk outside,so not a problem for me) The final thing I will say is there is really nothing to do on sea days, Some silly pool games, dance lessons, at the pool, It was wonderfully realxing for me, My husband was bored... Yes I would cruise MSC again. My husband would not, he prefers the constant party type cruising.
