transportation from Ville Franche to Cannes

Recommended Posts

Does anyone no the best way to get from Ville Franche to Cannes. Would it be easier to take the train or bus. Also what stops do you get off at. Thanks, Jermey

We took the train when we were in Villefranche. You walk alongside the water, then when you're almost at the end, there's a small sign with steps up. That's where you go up, cross over the train tracks (there's some footpath, or something--can't recall which), get a ticket, (yes they speak English and are used to us), then go back to the other side--where you came in on. The trains go by time, so watch for the 12:22 or something like that. It's an hour ride, get off at Cannes. You'll also stop in Nice. No worries. When you get off the train, with your back toward the train, walk straight, and you'll hit the Croisette. Also, the street in front of the train station is kinda neat--I always forget the name--it has spice shops, etc...It's not that difficult and don't worry. It's e-z. Everyone else will be heading for the trains also..... Villefranche is very cute and quaint....
