Back from 1st Cruise off Majesty

Recommended Posts

I am happy to be back home to have this oppurtunity to post this review of my 1st cruise...

Flight landed on time in MIA approx. 12p.m. and was greeted my the shuttle rep in baggage claim. we reached the pier near 2 and embarkment an check in was a breeze wait time prob. was all of 3 minutes before we got to the counter. made our way to the excursions desk imediately entering deck 4 to book our Parasail and Stingray Adventure...We made our way to our cabin on deck 5, 5003 dropped our carry ons and went to the Windjammer for lunch...bags arrives between 4-5 infront of our cabin...We were invited to the Viking Crown Lounge for Newlyweds and those celebrating Anniv. (our 1 year :D) at 8:00 so we did that just before dinner at 8:45...Elmer was our Waiter and he was great as well as the food.. After exploring the ship we decided to head for bed and get ready for Cococay teh next day.

Cococay: weather was great the tender over was pleasant and the Parasail was the best!! We wented a peddle boat to past time until the buffet lunch was ready then made our way to eat. Got back on board around 2:30ish to get out of the sun and the wet clothes. wife too a nap and I check out the Casino.. About 4:3-5 went expirienced Johnny Rockets and teh their delicious Strawbrrey shakes and Burgers. After dinner we watched the Newlywed game which was very interestuinig Hammish(Ithink) was the cruise director made it fun.

Nassau we swam with teh sting rays laid in the sun and went back, wife had an appt for massage and other pamperong things as an anniv. gift then we had dinner for formal night and this was a great sight, no one that I could see was given dirty looks to those that were not Dressed in formal and vice versa

Disemarkment: this started off not so good but after getting information from a ship rep and being well inform over the PA system, the ship was only permitted to allow 100 people at a time thru the gangway to go thru customes due to others ships docked at the same time and oly so many window avail. so for this there was NO WAY I could blame RCCI for this as their hands were tied and was tryin to do all they cold to keep the spirits of those still waiting to make their way off the ship while preparing the ship for its new travelers.

All in All I have to say that I really had a wonderful time and will cruise with RC again in the future. I will try and asnwer any question that you may have and will be posting photos real soon
