My husband and me were on the trip in Tahiti a couple of years ago. We know nothing about Fiji. Does anybody know if there are good bargains on clothing or jewelry? An acquaintance at a party said they changed the casino. Did they mess it up? Joan

The direct answer to your question is "no," there are no real bargains on clothing or jewelry. The jewelry stores are tourist-oriented, the prices are not bargains, and the selection leaves something to be desired. You are likely to be just as well to purchase from a reputable dealer at home - they either will have in stock or can access the same types of things that you could get in Fiji.

I don't know about the casino.

The casino is now VERY small, not much to it..
