Boarding time

We are going to be aboard the Wind Spirit out of St Thomas December 1st and the Windstar website says that they leave at 10pm. We are coming in one day early and will need to checkout of the hotel. When do they allow luggage to be checked aboard? Also, are you able to board, stow luggage and leave the ship until later closer to sailing? This is our first Windstar cruise and don't know the routine. Any help would be appreciated.

when we did that trip last year, we checked out of the hotel (1pm i think) and went right to the ship and checked in there. we did not try to get back off again, but i can see no reason why they would not let you off while the ship is still in st thomas

it is a great trip! have fun!

If you plan to leave the ship, make sure you check with the desk to make sure you are current on all schedules for the day. Windstar will leave early if everyone who is booked is checked in and all passengers are showing as on board so you may lose your chance to disembark.
