Maddie444 Posted August 8, 2004 #1 Share Posted August 8, 2004  I am already booked in cabin 1336 deck 10. I was reading about how most liked the aft of the ship. I called and cabin 1394 is available. Should I change cabins? Is it true these cabins on the aft. have bigger belcony's and have lounge chairs? Thank you in advance! Bonnie Voyager Posted August 8, 2004 #2 Share Posted August 8, 2004 Grab 1394 as quick as you can! It won't be available long! Here's a link to several photos of 1394 (and other aft photos) http://community.webshots.com/album/48328219CtbGLi/
Maddie444 Posted August 8, 2004 Author #3 Share Posted August 8, 2004 Thanks Bonnie for the info and the wonderful pictures. Does this belcony get any sun? In the picture of 1394 it looks like a bar going across does this block any of the view? Maddie
Bonnie Voyager Posted August 8, 2004 #4 Share Posted August 8, 2004 Yes, you get some sun on this balcony (and some shade as well). The superstructure you see across the back will be part of your view, but it won't obstruct any significant part of the view. I have yet to hear anyone complain about cabin 1394! You may try a search of the boards using "1394" as your keyword. You will get lots of feedback. But don't delay in holding the cabin as it won't be there long! Deck 10 aft is the most popular spot on the Voyager-class ships!

ineedacruise Posted January 7, 2005 #6 Share Posted January 7, 2005 Well, I am booked in the VOS 1394 and have seen the pics and it looks great. I am wondering about noise? Since it is right under the Island Grill will I hear chairs moving above me?
Marie51 Posted March 22, 2005 #7 Share Posted March 22, 2005 I booked 1392 and 1394 on the Mariner. There are 6 of us and we wanted connecting cabins. Anyone stayed in these? Where is the connecting door located?
over the edge Posted March 22, 2005 #8 Share Posted March 22, 2005 Hi, I have pictures of both 1694 and 1692 on the Voyager (sister to your ship). We stayed in 1694 junior suite and loved it. There was absolutely NO noise from above and we didn't even remember that we had a connecting cabin because the door was never open. The door is located between the bed and the couch which I believe adds a few feet to the aft cabin. Other pictures that I have viewed of junior suites in other areas of the ship do not seem to have the room between the bed and couch that we had in ours for the adjoining door. The door in 1692 is also in the middle of the room. You're gonna love it!!! :p

over the edge Posted March 22, 2005 #11 Share Posted March 22, 2005 In the last picture (1692), the person is standing infront of the adjoining door. In this picture (JS 1694), you cannot see the adjoining door but it is between the bed and couch. The room looks a bit wider in this picture, it became a bit distorted when I resized it to fit on cruisecritics.
