Harbor House $ 235??

Hi! I just reserved a room at the Harbor House for $235 for the first week of June. Does that sound resonable to everyone? I just noticed how much cheaper a lot of people booked their room for but it was also not in the summer season. I've been shopping prices and it seemed average but I was wondering if I was missing something. Maybe another site with lower prices? I booked through Wyndham. Thanks!

Go to galveston.com and see if you get the same rate. Summer rates are a lot higher so it might be correct.

I've stayed there twice for about 150.00 each time. And I checked a date recently off of galveston.com for the Harbor House for 85.00 . I woud try again on that price .Once I just called them direct. Good luck .You will love it there i'm sure.

For my dates at the end of June, I tried galveston.com., aaa, direct booking, southwest airlines, hotels.com and bidding on priceline and 5 or 6 more, but the cheapest was expedia! Last year it was Galveston. Oh, by the way I got it for 2 nights, $145 first night & second night.

We made reservations this week for the Harbor House on 7/9/07 after our Rhapsody cruise on 7/1/07. We paid $130/night including taxes and fees on Hotwire.

We got reservations for June 2 for $200 through expedia, so it sounds like we're both in the same ballpark.
