Self disembarkation on Miracle?

Sailing on Miracle in November. Do they offer self-assist disembarkation? Did this on Crown Princess and it was great.

I would also like to know if the Miracle is now allowing self-assist disembarking? We will be sailing on her again ourselves in December 07 and I agree that is a wonderful option that we've enjoyed on other cruises. But we sailed on the Miracle, May 2005, and at that time they didn't allow the "express checkout" as I like to call it, although they did allow us to remain in our rooms until our color tags were called. Problem was that we had to prop the door of the cabin open as the information was not being piped in our cabin. But worst of all we were traveling with other family members, and although they were just steps down the hall in a different cabin, they were AFT and we were FORWARD and we had different colored tags. Their color tags got called hours before our color tags, but what were we to do? We all ended up waiting in our cabin (3 cabins of people - 7 total) since we drove to the port together. Since the Miracle was a fairly new ship at the time we sailed her, I was hoping that now they have started allowing the self-assist? Can anyone tell us?

just got off the Miracle on the 26th and did the self assist. it went fine.

 

word of advice - sit somewhere around the casino before 8:30 (or whatever time they tell you self assist will start)... the line builds quick! best bet is to have someone hang out with the luggage by the seats and have someone wait in line.

 

have your sign and sail cards ready and your customs papers... they told us to have our passports/photo ids handy but we didn't need them.
