Istanbul Port

We received travel docs today for a trip in June. As for departure info in Istanbul, the docs state that the pier location is: Centrum "Downtown". Can anyone here clarify or explain where that is? We will staying in Istanbul for a short pre-cruise and will be taking a taxi to the port/pier. Thanks.

We ended our cruise in Istanbul Last october. We stayed inth Suldamet area at Hotel Nena. Hotel clean staff very frindly. They provided pickup at the pier. Which was only a few miles. Really liked Istanbul. It surprised me!
