kruzingtogether Posted May 1, 2007 #1 Share Posted May 1, 2007 Are the restaurants on the PG good at dealing with dietary restrictions? My husband is a vegetarian, which can be problematic on some cruises...
Wendy The Wanderer Posted May 1, 2007 #2 Share Posted May 1, 2007 If he's vegan, it might be an issue, but if he eats dairy he'll be fine, and I'm sure they can accommodate vegan if warned. There's always several vegetarian options I believe on the dinner menu, and if you talk to the maitre'd about the problem when you board, I'm sure they can accommodate your husband with special requests as well. kruzingtogether Posted May 1, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted May 1, 2007 Thanks! Luckily, just vegetarian ... I have no idea what I would cook if he were vegan! ;)
egret Posted May 2, 2007 #4 Share Posted May 2, 2007 I received a new brocure from Regent yesterday. Under Paul Gaugin Distinctions it says"Well being and vegetarian selections and special dietetic menus upon request". So as I would always expect on Regent, ask and you will recieve. canadagal Posted May 3, 2007 #5 Share Posted May 3, 2007 I'm a vegetarian too and I had no problem on the PG finding yummy things to eat. I agree that a vegan might have more of an issue but even then with advance notice I'm sure the chefs would be able to offer some tasty choices. marylizbeth Posted May 5, 2007 #6 Share Posted May 5, 2007 Vegetarians will have NO problem on Regent. The only issue may be at Latitudes restaurant where the menu is VERY set and include non veg items. All the other restaurants are fine and you will really appreciate La Veranda with a lot of Veggie items. I am a Veg and had so much to eat I gained 5 pounds. Don't follow my lead...I am still unable to fit into clothes~
