We are sailing the Valor in Aug. I knew NOTHING when i booked our room..we have a balcony room 7351 Empress deck. Comments?? was this a good choice, what room would have been better? I really feel all the info I have gotten from CC has been invaluable so I would love some seasoned cruisers opinions:) thanks

You made an excellent choice..We were on the Valor last year on the same deck but in a suite and just as long as you have another cabin across from you it will be basically quiet. My friend had 7365 i believe and she was across from the ice machine/cleaning supply storage and it was noisy all night. You will love Valor she is a great ship.

As far as to whether it's a good room, look at the deck plans for Carnival Valor on the Carnival website.

You want to look and be sure what is above and below your cabin (no nightclubs, casinos, food service areas, kitchens)

Then you can judge for yourself.

Hi there we were on valor the same floor, you made a great great choice forsure, we had room 7258, and we had family staying down by ur room and there ages run from 37-74 and they told us it was quite theres nothing in between just rooms on top and bottom, so enjoy ur cruise and have a great time you will love Valor.Happy Cruising;)

What about my room, I'm going to be in 7336 on Valor. Is that a good choice?

Since there is a blank space across from your room choice you can't be sure what is there. I do remember that there was a laundry area around that area. I would call Carnival and ask where the laundry area is on that floor. I always book a cabin that has a room across and is sandwiched between 2 cabin floors.(meaning no public areas above or below my cabin)

Good luck and have a great cruise!:)
